you dont update a custom firmware the same way you update an official. the DADADA error is because you are updating from a custom firmware to an official firmware.
if you want to update to an official, and lose all homebrew abilities you first need to downgrade to 1.50 using the oe recovery download found here:http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthr…
if you want to update the custom firmware, first you must update to 3.52m33.. http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id…
    ^3.52 official updatehttp://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id…
    ^1.50 updatehttp://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id…
    ^^3.52m33
just follow the readme file in the m33
then you have to update to 3.52m33-4
(this is required if you plan on going up to 3.71m33)http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id…
then if you want to update to 3.71m33 (there is no 3.70m33)
    you use this:http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id…
    ^3.71 official updatehttp://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id…
    3.71m33
